
Courses & Tutoring
At Wonked we offer a wide variety of Boot Camps, Courses, Publishing Programs, & 1:1 Tutoring Options
Students receive a free assessment, to assess their current math or reading comprehension level. Students also receive a free 10-15 minute initial consultation with one of our professionals.
Over the course of this 8-class intensive program, students develop, workshop, and polish original creative pieces ranging from poetry to short stories. Students finish the course with 3+ pieces ready to submit for publication.
Over the course of 8 sessions students develop a passion for a niche STEM topic, learn how to conduct rigorous and reliable independent research, craft a research essay, and polish it for submission to the STEM New York Times Research Essay Competition.
Student will receive instruction on the basics of financial literacy, culminating in an assessment. Each student who passes the 8-class course receives a "Certificate for Passing Wonked's Introduction to Financial Literacy Training" upon completion.
Students receive targeted, 1-on-1 instruction based on their needs in any subject matter, K-12.
Students will be mentored by 2 experienced podcasters and teachers on how to prepare for, record, edit, publish, and market a podcast. Audrey Thorne hosts Lights Camera Analysis, which has ranked in Apple's Top 100 Educational Podcasts for Kids in 13 countries, including the U.S. and Katherine Wynkoop worked as Sales and Marketing Strategist at Slate and Panoply.
Over the course of 8 sessions students develop a passion for a niche humanities topic, learn how to conduct rigorous and reliable independent research, craft a research essay, and polish it for submission to the John Locke Institute's Global Essay Competition.
Taking Advanced Placement course is a challenge. Entering an AP without any background in the subject makes earning a 5 on the end-of-year exam even more challenging. After 8 small-group lessons, students will start off the year with foundational knowledge about economics.
Lift-Off - Targeted instruction for students reading on grade-level for decoding and fluency, but below grade-level in comprehension
The Express Line - Targeted instruction for students reading 2-5 grades below grade-level in decoding, fluency, and comprehension
The Golden Ticket - Targeted instruction for students reading at a Kindergarten to Second Grade Level
